Striped bass are the most common species available. Bluefish, cod, pollock, and mackerel also are available at various times throughout the summer season. Weather in Maine can be quite unpredictable and changes often occur quickly. Dense fog can turn to bluebird skies in a matter of minutes. Bring your beach wear and your rain gear! Maine weather can change in a moment. Most of our fishing trips feature near shore fishing within a few hundred yards of the coastal beaches and rocky shorelines, close to marauding seals, diving gulls, and interesting local sights like the Wood Island Lighthouse. Most trips include pulling lobster traps. I maintain five active traps. You keep any lobsters harvested.
